Round crochet
I can't believe I actually made this! Funny, I've known how to crochet since I was a girl but never crocheted anything that wasn't flat. The doughnuts were the first non-flat thing I made. Then Lauren checked out a library book for me -- called something like Kids Crochet -- and it had a pattern for a ball. 
It's filled with beans. Jordann thinks I should have put a bell in it for Maowie.

You may have tapped into a new market, though - Cat Toys! I'm sure mine would enjoy it... if they could get it away from David. When he saw the pictures, he said, "BALL! BALL!!" : )
